Commissioning, Sea trials, living the dream
We’ll commission and conduct sea trials before launching your new yacht. Our shipyard’s commissioning dock trials and sea trials will be followed by flag state and classification approval and delivery to you. We’ll arm your yacht with tenders, mooring lines, fenders, and general marine safety and operational equipment, then outfit it with furniture and interior elements. Our build crew and your new crew will commission and familiarize themselves with the yacht while we create the safety management system (if the vessel is over 500 GT). We’ll conduct seatrials, then set sail and make the dream beyond the horizon a reality.
Construction and Follow up
Yacht construction will begin with laying the keel, building the hull and superstructure, installing piping, outfitting engineering, electrical installations, and outfitting the interior and exterior. We’ll paint and apply exterior coatings and outfit the exterior, ensuring continuous quality control and survey of installations by your build advisory with adjustments where necessary. Our team will also plan the safety management system (if the vessel is over 500 GT) while providing reports and feedback on the process, with eventual changes or adjustments.
Technical Engineering Planning
Leapher technical engineering planning team will create detailed structural naval architecture designs and hull optimizations. We’ll develop detailed exterior and interior designs, technical specifications, and planning for hotel services, engineering equipment, HVAC systems, AV/IT, navigational equipment integration, electrical, and piping designs. Our exterior outfitting and cosmetic planning will ensure that your yacht looks as stunning as it performs. We’ll follow the flag state and class approval process, and you will oversee the build crew, making adjustments to the budgetary requirements as needed.
Joint Planning with Architect
Our architects will work jointly with you to plan the general and cabin arrangements, guest, recreational, and crew spaces, workspace requirements, and interior and exterior styling and designs. We’ll also discuss material specs, AV/IT requirements, and engineering specs to ensure that your yacht is perfect in every detail. Our clients oversee the building process, adjusting the design brief and budgetary requirements as necessary.

Each client has unique requirements for their yacht, and we take this into account when discussing the general design brief. Our team will work with you to understand your preferences for onboard logistical transportation capabilities, such as helipads and submarines, that will allow you to explore remote areas safely and comfortably. We’ll also carefully select flag, classification, and construction standards based on your preferences and determine the appropriate manning requirements for your crew and flag state. Additionally, we prioritize environmental sustainability and will help you set environmental footprint goals for your yacht.
