Forged by a Passionate Team, Built for Exploration
From March 19–23, Leapher Explorer Yachts made its debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2025 (PBIBS 2025) – a defining moment that highlighted our commitment to designing and building exceptional vessels for long-range expeditions. This showcase celebrated the dedicated team turning bold concepts into reality across design, procurement, project management, shipbuilding, and marketing.
The event began with the opening of our thoughtfully designed booth, crafted to reflect the same level of craftsmanship and refinement found in our yachts. Featuring luxury finishes, climate-controlled comfort, curated lighting, and a generous offering of fine wine and cold refreshments, the space welcomed guests into the world of Leapher.
At its center stood two precision-built scaled models: the NAVIX50 and NAVIX60 explorer yachts, demonstrating our expertise in expedition vessel design.
Showcasing Innovation in Yacht Design
The NAVIX60, our flagship 1753GT vessel scheduled for delivery in Q4 2025, is designed for seasoned owners seeking long-range capability and refined comfort. It stood alongside the NAVIX50, a 499GT vessel crafted with the same expedition DNA in a more compact form.
Together, these models became a focal point throughout the show, representing not just future deliveries but a clear expression of Leapher’s long-term vision in the market.
Team Excellence
The impact of this moment was made possible through the dedication of our team:
- CEO Yiannis Andriotis
- Head of Procurement, Logistics, and Safety Gert Kaijen
- Product Development Manager Jaap van der Velde
- Managing Director Itay Zmora
Each team member was present to personally walk guests through the details of our vessels, each sharing expertise in his own area of specialization.

We were accompanied by Aristotelis Betsis, Owner and Design Director at AB Yacht Design. Known for his work on the NAVIX50 and the upcoming NAVIX55, a 750GT vessel currently in development, Aristotelis brought design depth and energy to every discussion. The mention of this future model drew repeated interest from guests eager to learn what’s next in our line.
Throughout the show, we were also joined by the exceptional broker team from Oxyzen Yachts, whose professionalism and expertise in yacht sales helped guide conversations and connect the right people to the right opportunities. Their presence added valuable insight and further strengthened our engagement with potential owners and industry peers.
Industry Insights
Later that day, Yiannis Andriotis joined a panel hosted by SuperYacht Times on trends in superyacht construction and design. He emphasized Leapher Yachts’ mission to build true expedition vessels, an offering he believes is lacking in today’s market. He underlined the importance of working with experienced professionals to deliver the best outcomes for owners and stated that Dutch-built expeditions should be the standard. He also highlighted the importance of a strong connection between owner and designer, where versatility, creativity, and thoughtful problem-solving are key to successful development.

Networking Networking Networking…
On March 20, our team hosted a happy hour event at the booth. Live music by SekondNature filled the air as guests from across the yachting industry and from parallel sectors like luxury aviation and finance gathered to enjoy a relaxed networking afternoon.
With carefully prepared finger food, great company, and a steady flow of conversations about long-range capabilities, the event became one of the most appreciated gatherings of the show.
Growing Interest in Leapher Yachts
March 21 brought focused attention from brokers and owners interested in expedition vessels. Interest continued to grow around our in-house capabilities and long-range designs. Our team engaged in conversations that moved beyond aesthetics, diving into hull configurations, operational reliability, and support systems essential for true exploration.

By March 22, our booth had become a destination. Many returned with clients and colleagues, creating a steady rhythm of meaningful exchanges. Aristotelis led design-related discussions, while Gert, Jaap, and Itay addressed technical specifications, build schedules, and material decisions. The NAVIX line’s endurance, autonomy, and functionality clearly resonated with savvy owners looking for authentic explorer yachts beyond surface-level luxury.
A Memorable Finale
March 23 marked the end of our first PBIBS appearance with a celebratory close. Surrounded by friends, guests, and industry figures, our team toasted a successful debut. Champagne corks popped, cameras flashed, and as the show wrapped, the unmistakable sound of yacht horns echoed across the marina. It wasn’t just a farewell, it was a signature moment. The deep, resounding horn captured the spirit of Leapher Yachts: bold, refined, and ready for what’s next.

Looking Forward
PBIBS 2025 was, above all, a team achievement in establishing Leapher Yachts in the market. Every detail, from the booth layout to the final toast, reflected collaboration, dedication, and pride in the vessels we build.
We thank everyone who visited, engaged, and celebrated with us. This is only the beginning of a worldwide journey in explorer yacht development and innovation.
